2. The PM9 Seminar - Project Management Practices - In the Caribbean
Theme: Project Management in Practice

The IET TT LN attended the Ninth Public Seminar on “Project Management Practices in the Caribbean” held on Saturday 3rd December 2016 held at UWi, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
Over 80 participants including invited guest speakers, Project Management professionals, academics, students, and delegates from industry who are interested in the theme “Project Management in Practice” attended the Seminar.

Many participants commented that the presenters were very knowledgeable about their areas of expertise and the presentations were interactive and informative.

3. MARCH 18, 2017 - ASQ SEMINAR HOSTED BY UWI ST. AUGUSTINE
The Inauguration of The ASQ LMC Trinidad and Tobago 2017 was held at UWI, Room 101, Faculty of Engineering, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago was held on Saturday 18th March 2017.
The Seminar was co-organised in collaboration with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Local Member Community (LMC) Branch, Trinidad and Tobago (T&T).
The event included keynote addresses from industry and/or academia plus an information session of ASQ and LMC in Trinidad and Tobago.
Executives, managers, engineers, industry practitioners, academics, students and others who are interested in the Seminar’s theme are cordially invited to attend the Seminar.
The Theme of this Seminar was: Building Quality Links with Stakeholders
The purpose of the event was to build and foster the link among the Faculty, the industry partners and ASQ-LMC in facilitate the nation-wide awareness and provide communication and experience sharing platforms for members and quality professional to enhance quality awareness, standards and practices in T&T
The IET TT LN was invited and attended this prestigious event.
4. MAY 25, 2017 - UWI ENGINEERING OPEN DAY SEMINAR AT UWI, ST AUGUSTINE
The iET TT LN was invited to and participated in this event, held on May 25. An IET booth with all IET materuals were displayed at this seminar. Several members of the public visited that IET TT LN booth and they were very curious and interested in the display by IET TT LN.
The IET TT LN assisted in this event to support and promote the IET as well as support the UWI, MME Open Day Sub Committee.
This event was a very successful one. THE IET TT LN HAD THE BEST BOOTH AT THIS EVENT!!!
5. MAY 27, 2017 - IET TT LN 2017 PATW LOCAL FINALS - AT UWI , ST. AUGUSTINE
(IET) Trinidad & Tobago Local Network hosted the 2017 Present Around the World (PATW) local finals on Saturday 27th May 2017.
The event was a success and the winner was Miss Seles Bhola and the runner up Mr. Shivan Ramnarace.
Miss Bhola will receive her prize of an all expense paid trip to participate in the Americas PATW final in the USA in August 2017. The winner of the Americas Final will then have an all expense paid opportunity to participate in the PATW World Finals London in November 2017.
The IET TT LN wishes Miss Seles Bhola all the best and hope to get another winner at the PATW Amercas Finals in August, 2017. Best of Luck.
