The Ottawa LN provided a talk at the Toronto LN Christmas dinner in 2016.  It was an opportunity for the speaker, Dr Frank Johnson, to return to his alma mater, where he studied for his Masters and PhD in the early 1970's.  He used the chance to review the progress of medical engineering during the intervening years and then cheerfully project forwards by another 50 years to estimate where medical engineering would be in 2060.  Fortunately the probability of feedback of the veracity of his predictions is low, even given the current level of expertise of medical engineering.
