We wanted to drop you a note about National Women in Engineering Day (NWED) that is taking place next today!  We are working with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to inspire and celebrate all of women’s achievements in engineering and to showcase the great engineering careers that are available for girls. You can find out more about this year’s NWED here http://www.nwed.org.uk/

We would love you to show your support for all women who work in the sector by sharing one or both of our two films across your social networks and to share as widely as possible the hashtag #nwed.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology has also launched its Engineer a Better World campaign to change the way parents think about engineering and move towards forward thinking ideas, encouraging both their sons and daughters to harness their potential for an exciting, rewarding career in Engineering.

Please visit here to see how you can support the campaign. http://www.engineer-a-better-world.org/ Currently we are looking for Engineering Open House venues and businesses – if you would like to open up the doors of where you work to show how engineering is a creative and interesting career please do get in touch.
