IET Standards recently announced the publication of the new Code of Practice for Electrical Energy Storage Systems. See here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6300280334915248128 - please like/share this update, so that we can reach as many eyes as possible!

This Code of Practice is an excellent reference for practioners on the safe, effective and competent application of electrical energy storage systems. It provides detailed information on the specification, design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of an energy storage system.
It will be of particular interest to renewable energy developers, electrical contractors and building technicians, M&E and design consultants and energy and facility managers. It would also appeal to manufacturers, building control, fire services, insurance companies and anyone involved in research and development in this area.

Also, an article on energy storage appeared in the July Wiring Matters magazine here: http://electrical.theiet.org/wiring-matters/66/energy-storage/index.cfm
