Join us for a free webinar, presented by Professor Kaspar Althoefer.  In this talk, Prof Althoefer will discuss some of the innovative approaches for sensor delivery and robotic manipulation based on soft and bioinspired robots being explored at the Centre for Advanced Robotics @ Queen Mary. The talk will also discuss the research efforts on improving robotic teleoperation and autonomous grasping in the context of nuclear decommissioning.


Professor Althoefer is an experienced roboticist leading competitively funded research on soft robotics, intelligent micro-sensing systems and interaction dynamics modelling with applications in minimally invasive surgery, assistive technologies and human-robot interaction at Queen Mary University of London.
