The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is working to engineer a better world. We inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society. 


Present Around The World is a global competition for Young Professionals and Students within engineering to develop and showcase presentation skills. You don’t have to be a member of the IET to enter but must be 18-30 years of age and be prepared to: 


Deliver a 10 minute presentation on any engineering or technology related area 


Enhance your knowledge 


Develop your skills 


Increase your profile and 


Open doors for your career


 


IET Northern Ireland Regional Competition – 17th November 2016 6pm Ashby Building QUB


The NI branch of the IET is organising the Present Around the World (PATW) contest, designed to encourage students and young engineers to develop their presentation skills. Participants have the chance to convince the judges and the audience of their presentations skills during 10 min. presentations followed by Q&A.


The winner of the local round qualifies for the regional final and receives a cash prize.  Any technical topic is accepted (not restricted to electronics/electrical engineering) and anyone between 18 and 30 years old (not necessarily IET members) can register to present.

You should specify the title of your talk, along with a 100 word synopsis.  Competition places will be awarded on a first come basis.
