Synopsis:
Object detection and tracking is now one of the current hot topics in computer vision research and is important to many real-world applications, such as intelligent video surveillance. In particular, detecting and tracking people in a scene, or across scenes is still very challenging in real world applications. In this talk, developments in object detection and tracking technology over the last ten years will be reviewed and some application examples will be illustrated.
