IET SYLN were once again invited to the IMechE  Regional dinner held at the Cutlers Hall in Sheffield

Attending on behalf of the IET SYLN were the Immediate Past Chair, Alan Chater and the Young Professionals Chair, Layla Graham

Around 170 invited guests enjoyed the evening with Denis Healy their Regional  Business Development Manager once again undertaking the Master of Ceremonies role for the evening

Key note speakers were Tony Roche the current IMechE President, the Master Cutler Nick Cragg and the Regional Chairman Alan Bratton.

The event this year was organised by Elevation Recruitment from the Rotherham based office.

Interesting speeches about the engineering professions were delivered by all three speakers followed by a series of individual presentations to new Chartered and Incorporated Engineers.

The format of these dinners is something the IET SYLN would like to emulate possibly during September this year
