Saturday, 9th June 2018, Bandar Seri Begawan. IET Brunei Network organised the annual IET Present Around The World (PATW) Brunei Local Heat in Universiti Teknologi Brunei.


This year, total of 6 participants of distinct backgrounds joining the competition. Every participants were provided opportunity to give their presentation based on science and technology topics in front of the audiences for 10 minutes. After their presentation has ended, the judges and audiences have the chances to interact with the participants in the Q&A session.


Dalvina Chin, the winner of the competition, received a cash prize of BND300.00 and secured a spot in Asia Pacific Regional PATW in Singapore on 19th August 2018. Jevons Quiambao Penaflor won the runner-up and received a cash prize of BND200.00.
