Did you know that 1 in 7 people worldwide are considered to be neurodiverse, and that there are 820,000 neurodiverse engineers working in the UK alone?

Like all members of our engineering community, you’ll want to ensure you have everything you need to be successful, in both your personal and professional life.

But if you have been diagnosed as neurodivergent, or believe you may have a neurodiverse condition, you might feel you’re being held back from reaching your full potential.

Or if you know or work with someone who is neurodivergent, perhaps you feel there’s more you can do to enhance your relationship, so that you can get along better at work or at home?

Whether you’re neurodivergent or neurotypical, at Foothold we want to build a world where every member of our community has the opportunity to make the most of their unique talents and capabilities.

That’s why we’ve launched our Engineering Neurodiverse Futures programme – so that you and those around you can thrive, no matter your circumstances.

Say hello to our Engineering Neurodiverse Futures programme

Designed specifically for neurodivergent engineers, students and apprentices, and the people who support them, this ground-breaking support programme will open up new opportunities for the entire engineering community.

It includes our new Differently Wired Hub, a free online resource that’s available to every member of our community. In the hub you’ll find expert advice, information and content on a range of neurodiverse conditions – including ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Tourette’s Syndrome – as well as guidance and tips on how to best support neurodiverse people to reach their full potential.

And if you’re a student or apprentice studying your first engineering course, you may be eligible for further direct support including access to formal diagnosis, financial support, counselling, and careers guidance.

Join the Foothold Differently Wired Hub and start #EngineeringYourWay today
