Occupational health is defined as the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of workers in all occupations by preventing departures from health, controlling risks and the adaptation of work to people, and people to their jobs. Studies and researches on occupational health reflect that the repercussions of occupational illnesses pose severe after-effect, threatening the daily life of the victims and increasing burden of the public health care system. However, the issues in relation to occupational health are very often disregarded by both the employer and employee as the instant effect of occupational

 

The conference will be relevant to executives, professionals and managerial staff, particularly health and safety professionals and those with responsibility for health and safety at work.

 

The conference will provide an important forum for the meaningful exchange of good practices and ideas on tackling occupational health issues in workplaces and an excellent opportunity to share ideas, network with colleagues, make new contacts and learn from others in the industry.
