The IET Technical on Technologies Shaping the Business in Critical Communications  was organsied on Saturday 13th January 2018 at Vistana Hotel Penang. More than 20 participants attended the talk. Present was the IET Penang Representative Tan Soon Keong.


The invited speaker, Dr Hari Narayanan is the Managing Director of Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd. He has delivered a quick review of the history of Motorola and highlighted the success and failures leading to where the Company is today. The evolving technologies that are driving the latest transformation of Motorola Solutions   have been presented. The presentation was ended with a summary view of the challenges of the local  Electrical & Electronics (EE) scene in reference to the technology trends, and the future talent needs.


 


The Route to Chartered Engineer was then shared by Ir Dr. Leong Wai Yie, the application process and guidelines were discussed to benefit the new applicants.
