2014 - 16 committee with CM 


A few highlights of 2014 - 16 Malaysia Network:

• Malaysia YPS won the IET Global and Asia Pacific award for “Best engagement with the under 40s or students”

• On Campus/students groups in 17 universities with 10 very active OC groups, new OC groups set up for the past year.

• Malaysia Network hosted visits for Past President Sir Robin Saxby and organized Professional Registrations events with Colin, IET Manager, Registrations and Standards

• A number of CEng talks (5 talks done by Matthew, Immediate Past Chair) had been conducted at different regions/cities in Malaysia such as in East Malaysia (Sibu and Sarawak) and at Ipoh which have attracted many students, young engineers and attendees from Government department (Public Works)

I attended the AGM on 10 Dec, recognition certificates were presented to the committee members and I also took the opportunity to thank all the volunteers' (involved in different roles) for their excellent work.
