For the 9th concecutive year The Cyprus Institute organized the Solar Car Challenge 2018, on Sunday, 24 June 2018. The event was co-organized with the Municipality of Nicosia and the contestants offered a spectacular experience conveying the message that the environmentally friendly technology is our future for a green planet.
The custom-made solar vehicles will race each other on the public roads of the Nicosia city center:
