I will be attending the TES National Strategy Launch on Tuesday 5th July 12-30pm to be held at The IET, Savoy House.  The event is being supported by Cranfield Univerity, Rolls Royce and the High Value Manufacturing Catapult.

In their advertising they state that "Following the launch of this initiative at the Houses of Parliament in September 2015 and the setting up of a steering committee to oversee the work the final strategy document and its associated supporting documents will be published on the 5th of July 2016. A series of regional workshops were held and their outputs analysed".

In defining the National Strategy research into the potential size of the market has been led by Professor Alan Hughes of the Judge Business School, Cambridge University (http://www.cbr.cam.ac.uk/people/the-team/alan-hughes/). In addition extensive consultation with sector experts has been undertaken and included in the outputs supported by TES related research impact case studies.

The National Strategy is facilitated by the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Through-life Engineering Services (TES Centre) hosted by Cranfield and Durham Universities.
