On average Williams F1 builds 7 chassis per season over a 30-year history – that’s a lot of cars, so what do they do with them?
Perhaps one of the most prized possessions in the team’s armoury, the Collection is somewhat revered by everyone at Williams F1 and provides a suitable destination for some of the finest Grand Prix cars ever built once they’ve served their term in the sport
Following last year’s successful visit, we are organising a tour of Sir Frank Williams’ private Williams Grand Prix Collection (the largest of its kind in the world, spanning the history of the Williams Team since 1978) at Grove in the early evening on 24th June 2015
The tour will comprise:-
- Refreshments on arrival
- Introduction and Preview Video
- Escorted tour of the Collection
- Technology Room displays of all aspects of F1 Car engineering
- Interactive Race Team Pit Wall Trophy Room displaying a selection of memorabilia relating to the Team’s nine Manufacture’s World Championship wins
- Williams Gift Shop
Unfortunately, it is not possible to tour the Williams F1 Factory as this is a privilege that is reserved for Sponsors only
The cost of the visit, per person, is £33 (inc VAT) – Normal cost £42 (inc VAT), we’re subsidising the event
