It has been a while since the NorCal committee last posted and while we have been away, we have been planning the next series of events for our Local Network.
This weekend, the 11th to be exact, we will be staging our PATW heat to find out who represents us in Boston in the summer. If you would like to join us and see our awesome presenters in action, we will be at:
Etcheverry Hall, Univerisity of Berkeley @ 1pm on March 11th.
Sean Lubner, our 2016 PATW heat winner, went on to win the whole competition last year and in the process, show cased the engineering talent that we have in the area. If you can spare an hour or two on Saturday, it would be great to see you!
Our other confirmed seminars are:
- April 29th a presentation about Dropbox and working in the cloud.
- June 10th a presentation from the CISCO CISO.
Currently being planned we have:
- August 5th at visit to the National Ignition Facility in Livermore.
- December 9th Holiday Get Together.
We'll be updating the events calendar shortly where you will be able to sign up for these great events.
Finally, we are always looking for ideas for presentations and for help running the network. If you have some thoughts and suggestions, we would love to hear them so please get in touch.
