Screens instead of windows on supersonic jet

Spike Aerospace who are designing the S-512 supersonic jet says it plans to replace the cabin windows with thin display screens embedded in the wall of the fuselage. It will certainly make long haul flights more interesting, although those people who suffer from claustrophobia may find it stressful.

Introducing the Newcastle University IET on campus group

Founding members discuss the creation of the new on campus group and how it will help the university’s engineering students through lectures, workshops and networking opportunities. IET Australia Chairman Presents 2013 IET Student Prize In New South Wales

Graham Lee (IET Australia Forum Chairman) was in attendance at the University of Sydney Electrical and Information Engineering School's annual Scholarship and Prizegiving Presentation on 17 May 2013 to celebrate the achievements of its outstanding students. The 2013 IET Student Prize for New South Wales was awarded to Laurence Rouesnel for outstanding achievements as an engineering student at the University of Sydney.
