Dear Sir

Chartered Engineer (CEng) offered from IET is equivalent to CEng from IPEA??

  • Do you mean IPEA or rather IPEM (Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine)? If the latter then it is a fairly straightforward question. The IET is a Professional Engineering Institute (PEI) licenced by the Engineering Council (EC) and grants CEng under that licence, so registrants are CEng with the EC rather than the IET. Similarly the IPEM is a PEI licenced by the EC and registrants gaining CEng through them are registered with the EC in the same way.
