Rejoin Options

I joined IEE as AMIEE in 1995. As I'm an electrical building services engineer, I felt that IEE was suitable for me. But, after IEE become IET in 2006. I felt that IET became less relevant. My current role is in operation & maintenance field. I feel that I should try some other institutions as I feel that the E&T magazines are not relevant to electrical engineers anymore. I have read the magazines of other institutions and I feel that they are more interesting and relevant for me. I don't have too much extra money to pay for all memberships, so I should be wise enough to select the best to suit me in my circumstances. Are there any members out there have similar feelings?
