U.K. Electrical Demand is Getting Very High.

good job the wind is blowing and we are not trying to phase out our use of gas (oh well.. ) solar is not so useful at this time of day...

A lady customer told me this morning in the gloom that her solar box had a red light on it. I don't know what that means do you?

If it's the inverter, then a red light probably means it's gone wrong.

If it's the generation meter, it means that the inverter isn't generating.  This is quite normal at night, and maybe even in heavy snow too.
