That looks like fun.

Agree, foolhardy in the extreme. And in the unlikely event that it is SELV, there seems significant risk of injury from the moving blades.

    Potential Darwin award ?

  • I imagine the child is in a part of the world where a UK-style  approach to eliminating all risks , however small, does not apply, and will grow up with a few scars and a very well developed sense of self preservation, and  then on the balance of probability will make it to a ripe old age.

Consider also  this electrode type heater may  be used for warming a baby bath, and variations on the design are sold for that very purpose  (though to be fair you are supposed to remove the heater before putting the baby in, but nothing stops you  from not doing so )

50 years ago, car owners manuals told you how to adjust the valves. now they tell you not to drink the brake fluid! I say remove all warning labelling and let Darwinism prove a point!

  • If you search, you find that it is in AUS, so UK standards (230V/50Hz) and is plugged in (you can see 2 wire non Earth cord). Unlike EU (life saving trip meter), here it will depend on the fuse (13A?)
  • Just for my information - who is at risk here? Is it baby (fully in the bath) or the whiskiste (earthed via knees?)?

I guess if she drops the whisk in the bath, the last thing to do is lift baby out?
