PATW-2015

It was quite gratifying that 37.5% of the entrants to the Present Around The World local heat, held at Intel in Swindon on 24th February, were female.

As one of the judges I would like to thank all the entrants for a wonderful range of topics, well presented and reasonably well researched.

  • Paul, we'd also like to say a big thank you for agreeing to be a judge and supporting this event. Like you, I was impressed with the quality of presentation and range of topics. It was very encouraging that we were able to fill all eight available presentation slots. The PATW competition was one of my first introductions to the IET (then IEE) and therefore I hope last night's event will encourage our presenters to also further engage with the IET and take advantage of some of the great opportunities it offers.
