PATW-2015

It was quite gratifying that 37.5% of the entrants to the Present Around The World local heat, held at Intel in Swindon on 24th February, were female.

As one of the judges I would like to thank all the entrants for a wonderful range of topics, well presented and reasonably well researched.

I think it was quite fitting that Jemma gave the best all round performance on the evening – especially that 23rd June was National Women in Engineering Day (NWED – www.wes.org.uk/nwed)  – a fantastic day to celebrate the achievements of women in engineering and with Jemma’s presentation I am sure we will be hearing about her contributions for many years ahead.  Well done to all for making the evening so vibrant and enjoyable.
