    Hi

I'm Tasneem. I currently live in london and graduated last year in Mechanical Engineering and have been looking for an engineering related job ever since (ideally in the motosport/automotive industry).

Feel free to contact me as I would really appreciated any advice anyone has to offer or for general networking.

  • Hello,

I'm Liz Parkes and a transport safety specialist.  I'm nearing the end of an Open University BEng and hoping to progress to IEng status after graduation.  Looking forward to participating in IET activities.

  • Hi Lisa,  yes this is entirely possible, a lot will depend on the engineering knowledge and experience you have built up since you started and what your training has been.

I am a PRA (Professional Registration Advisor) for the IET, feel free to message me separately (vquinn@iee.org) and I will try to answer your questions one-to-one as each persons situation is different.

Alternatively, contact the IET (membership services) directly and ask for a mentor or PRA reference to find someone locally.  Although I'm a Yorkshire lass I don't live there anymore :)

    regards

    Hello Hadia,

Please let us know if you need any support to help you.  I am not sure if you make use of a mentor but this might be something that you wish to consider.

    Kind regards,

    Jo

    Hi,

I am currently studying engineering at Teesside University. I have just started in September and I'm currently in year 0 as it's an extended course (we do a bit of everything.) I am hoping to study Aerospace next year!

    Hello!

I am Cristina and I want to be a Neural Engineer; I just graduated in Biomedical Engineering. I am working as freelance.

I come from Italy, currently staying in London, planning to move soon. Wherever I am, I'm always happy to meet and share ideas with fellow engineers. Hope to meet you all soon. :)
