Has anyone in our region bought and used a Red Pitaya device? The Red Pitaya is an open source 50MHz two channel digital oscilloscope/signal generator. If you've got one and you'd like to show us the device in operation, please let us know.
It is an interesting bit of kit, although there are those that say that you could buy better discrete secondhand instruments for the same price, if it is simply a test bench you are after. It is more or less two channels of 50MHz ADC, two channels of DAC, a swish FPGA and some clever software and comms. An easy LCR meter that can do frequency plots of passive components is one off the shelf demo. I was hoping that someone in our region might have one, and feel like talking about it.
