Red Pitaya anyone?

Has anyone in our region bought and used a Red Pitaya device? The Red Pitaya is an open source 50MHz two channel digital oscilloscope/signal generator. If you've got one and you'd like to show us the device in operation, please let us know.

  • It is an interesting bit of kit, although there are those that say that you could buy better discrete secondhand instruments for the same price, if it is simply a test bench you are after. It is more or less two channels of 50MHz ADC, two channels of DAC, a swish FPGA and some clever software and comms. An easy LCR meter that can do frequency plots of passive components is one off the shelf demo. I was hoping that someone in our region might have one, and feel like talking about it.
