What are you doing at work this week?

Are you:

  • attending an event or exhibition?

  • researching on the internet?

  • mentoring someone?

  • undertaking a volunteering activity?

  • attending a training course?

  • job shadowing?

  • reading a technical article or book?

  • studying towards an academic qualification?

  • starting a new role?

Then you’re gaining new knowledge and doing things which can contribute to your CPD!  Why not keep a simple record of how many hours you spend on these kinds of things and you’ll be surprised how quickly you reach 30 hours – better still, why not get ready to record these simply in the new Career Manager due for launch at the end of June?

Have you seen our new CPD Monitoring Scheme on our website?

We’ve already had our first few members opt-in to the scheme. Will you be joining? What do you think of the scheme?

    5. Carry over to next week, the need for a damn good desk tidy;
