Let's talk about succession planning

I've created this discussion thread to give you the opportunity to either ask questions, or share your experiences around succession planning. As staff we try to do our best to provide you with useful information in order to support you in your roles as IET volunteers, but in some cases volunteers will inevitably benefit more by talking to other volunteers.



I will ask a question just to get the ball rolling:



What do you find most challenging about succession planning?

    Yes, Secretary and Treasurer are important continuity roles, involving a lot of knowledge and experience, whereas Chair is more of a figurehead role. Still, 21 years is an impressive achievement.
