Still awfully quiet in here

Great to see the rainbow flags flying over Savoy Place and on the large screens in the foyer. It was good to see IET events and activity around LGBTSTEM day on 5 Jul too.

So why is it still so quiet in this LGBT Network?

    ? I've also registered for the LGBT STEMinar! I've not been before, so no idea what to actually expect, but sounds like a great event! ?

    I've registered too! I wasn't aware of the LGBT+ Steminar series.  I'd love to do a talk or poster, but I don't really know what I have to say that people would want to hear?

    Perhaps attend your first event, that may hopefully help you to decide what to present in future STEMinar.

    Well I've only been to one LGBT STEMinar and the subjects are quite varied. People mostly present on their current project/research or sphere of work. There's the odd panel event too. The posters are again about field of work or current project/research. Its rather biased towards science, so a few more engineering sessions would be good.
