Who has experience in deployment of PLCOpen?

I am interested to know who has experience of using PLCOpen tools in managing obsolete legacy control systems.

The problem I am trying to solve.

1.  Upload a program from a legacy PLC into a supplier neutral environment.

2.  Test the functionality using simulation

3.  Download the tested code into a new hardware platform.

Has anyone got experience of doing this with PLC Open?
