Power systems in different countries follow different designs. Can you tell us the main features of power system design in your country

例如: 1. 电力系统中常用的网络布线;2、输电线路保护设备的主要功能;3. 电力系统运行信息采集的内容;

  • I thought it might be helpful to translate the Chinese text (curtesy of Google translate) in case someone wanted to contribute (not my area I'm afraid)

    For example: 1. network cabling commonly used in power systems; 2. The main functions of transmission line protection equipment; 3. The content of the power system operation information collection

  • It's quite a wide subject - it's not entirely clear from the question whether you're interested in long distance transmission (e.g. 132-400kV on pylons), regional distribution (33kV & 11kV), local distribution (e.g. street) at 400/230V or in-building wiring (e.g. to the wall socket). Rather different techniques and methods are used in the different tiers.

    There are a few common features across all though - cables can be underground or overhead; underground cables almost always have an earthed armour in the UK. I don't know much about the grid information/command/control systems - I'd suspect the detail of that sort of information might be sensitive (so as not to make it too easy for ner'do'wells to deliberately disrupt the grid).

  • It does feel like this is a question to be answered by several books rather than a one paragraph forum answer!!!

    I'm guessing a University essay question?
