I don’t bother normally watching these videos, but I clicked the link on this occasion and picked up one thing from it.
Apparently a firm called Haste will call and fit a REC main switch for around £65 rather than having to pay WPD three times that, so does anyone know what the deal is?

You are missing out on so much by not avidly wanting to watch these interesting, amusing, educational and informative youtube videos Andy. I only post the best quality ones. I believe that a new main switch can be installed for about 65 squid that allows isolation of a consumer unit when it is to be changed or worked on.
