    If so for someone  to have the knowledge to modify it, changing lamp holder to take a mains lamp and bypassing the transformer in the base, without realising that the result was lethal, would be an unusual combination of skills.

    It is almost as if it was deliberately intended to be dangerous, which is worrying.




    Edit mind you, this exists so perhaps


    In any case, for the family, it is tragic.
