Schneider/Telemecanique Zelio-Logic smart relay

Hi all,

first post to the new look forum. Does anyone have experience of the above ( the one I need info on is a model which has been superseded).

One of the perameters needs to be changed and I need to know if this can be done directly on the unit itself or if software is required.

Either way I’m going to have to get someone in to do it, as I have no plc experience, but I’d like to know in advance what’s actually involved.

Thanks in advance for any info.

  • Oh I agree, but it depends where I am, how much of a hurry I'm in , and if what I need matches the junk box stock. And of course  there is the satisfaction of the full understanding associated with a home brew solution.

But on the other hand at a pound a minute or whatever, if you can afford the delay while it is ordered in just do so and charge buying it to the project.

Finding stuff is a mix of prior knowledge and luck, the company I work for used to be one of Siemens long haired R and D places, before it got bought and sold, and there is some history of us knowing roughly what is inside some of their stuff, and I always search for serial no and 'tear down'  to see if someone has cut one open on the web. Then it is just necessary to make sure there is a source in the public domain to point to first.

Of course if you have the cable and he lives near enough to borrow it, then it suddenly gets much easier.
