How they do it in Norway

Following on from my piece on Swiss domestic wiring I took a few pictures of the installation in a rented house in North Norway. The Meter and Distribution Panal are mounted over the stairwell. Both appear to have been fairly recently upgraded. The supply is 3 phase via overhead lines.

There is a 63A main switch, surge protection devices and lots of RCBOs

The circuit descriptions (it's all electric with a small wood burning stove)

There looks to have been an interesting event in the past.

  • Are they still on an IT earthing system out there?

Curious that some of the RCBOs are 15A rather than 16A rating - I didn't think that 15A was one of the preferred ratings these days.
