For mapj1 #2

Thanks again Mike, got that now, exactly as you said, downloaded pic, wrote up short text, filled the 3 boxes, (I did wonder what they were for!), hit on the box with jagged edges/mountain scene. Hit update. Job done. Thanks again.

Regards, UKPN?

  • Okay, the forum has been off line this afternoon and now its turned the same shade of purple as the 12-volt kitchen under cabinet LED kitchen lights did when I connected them to a 24-volt driver, just before they went up in smoke

I'm glad you said that - I was wondering if it was just me (or my laptop, or my browser...).

Some of the post ordering seems a little odd too - like in the Bonding of temporary metal fences at a Railway station platform thread Brian Kvedaras first reply seems to be listed first even though it was posted later than some of the others - and the ordering appears to be 'Date ^' (which I presume is meant to be date-time ascending). While Brian's reply is certainly outstanding, the ordering does make reading the rest of the thread rather awkward (reminiscent of the Two Ronnies - answering the question before last sketch). I guess someone has (entirely reasonably) marked it as a best answer or somesuch - but isn't there a better way of indicating that than messing with the "proper" order of things? To be fair I think I noticed this earlier on, so probably not directly due to the most recent (violet) upgrade.
