No more Sentry consumer units?

Anyone else heard that Honeywell are ceasing the production of MK consumer units and accessories at the end of this year?

Can't recall where I got the story now, but it went along the lines of not being a big enough money maker for them to carry on.

That said, I had noticed some very good offers on Sentry cus recently but wondered if it was because they were end-of-line and fitted with type AC RCDs.

    To be honest the quality of MK consumer units is dire, the breakers need to be wedged with a wooden block while tightening the screws onto the busbar or the whole lot ends up at an italic angle!


    Their wiring accessories, while not quite as rugged as in years gone by, are still however very well designed and neat looking, especially the logic plus range.
