Noisy builders on existing properties.

I have had immediate neighbours carrying out building work........... an extension etc, this has been going on since April.


I appreciate that most building noise is unavoidable but loud radios and foul language is not acceptable IMO. Even when chastised, they seem to think that it is a right applicable to builders and continue.? I had to resort to loud dB's on Classic FM on a sound blaster for a few days, to get them to desist from their their music at least. Is this an indication of intelligence or upbringing, Do electricians have the same disregard for others?, would you do it? How is it prevented?

    We had the same problem with our neighbours having an extension built where the owners had decamped to the parents house. It was a big problem for my wife who was trying to work in the house from her office. Had I not been out at work I would have done a little music practice with the windows open - the bagpipes don't have a volume control.
