Noisy builders on existing properties.

I have had immediate neighbours carrying out building work........... an extension etc, this has been going on since April.


I appreciate that most building noise is unavoidable but loud radios and foul language is not acceptable IMO. Even when chastised, they seem to think that it is a right applicable to builders and continue.? I had to resort to loud dB's on Classic FM on a sound blaster for a few days, to get them to desist from their their music at least. Is this an indication of intelligence or upbringing, Do electricians have the same disregard for others?, would you do it? How is it prevented?

    The old bat who lives next to Kelly towers  smokes in her garden and unfortunately if my bathroom window is open my bathroom and hallway stink of her foul smoke now I realise it's not as bad as noise but it's still a pain in the bum and she's a nosy woman as well
