Noisy builders on existing properties.

I have had immediate neighbours carrying out building work........... an extension etc, this has been going on since April.

I appreciate that most building noise is unavoidable but loud radios and foul language is not acceptable IMO. Even when chastised, they seem to think that it is a right applicable to builders and continue.? I had to resort to loud dB's on Classic FM on a sound blaster for a few days, to get them to desist from their their music at least. Is this an indication of intelligence or upbringing, Do electricians have the same disregard for others?, would you do it? How is it prevented?

I am interested to know what the tech spec of the OPs weaponised Classic FM sound blaster is! Does it go on wattage or rely on repetitions of commercials per hour?

Edit to add: shouldn't this topic be in the ask the community section, or better still ask Calvin for anonymity ?
