Noisy builders on existing properties.

I have had immediate neighbours carrying out building work........... an extension etc, this has been going on since April.

I appreciate that most building noise is unavoidable but loud radios and foul language is not acceptable IMO. Even when chastised, they seem to think that it is a right applicable to builders and continue.? I had to resort to loud dB's on Classic FM on a sound blaster for a few days, to get them to desist from their their music at least. Is this an indication of intelligence or upbringing, Do electricians have the same disregard for others?, would you do it? How is it prevented?

Good call on the mods lisa, though does shoehorning the word electrician into any new topic count as wiring and regs related?

Nope, it entirely depends on the overall theme of the question being asked or statement being made.

Jaymack was asking a question to fellow electricians in that as an electrician on site, are you aware of the noise you're making and try to minimise it for the comfort of not only your clients but also for anyone else in the vicinity.  The  question came about as a result of a current problem he's experiencing with neighbouring builders but it's still a question he's asking as one electrician to another. ?

Thanks Lisa, apologies I misinterpreted this from the OP as asking whether electricians have 'sound blasted' others but as I am not currently an electrician and the OP has pursued all the correct official channels I can give no further advice thanks for clearing up the meaning :)
