JIB gold card

Hi everybody

I ve done my qualifications in England between 2000-2003 part 1, part 2 and testing and inspection 2391 and 16th edition.

later I did 17th edition , 18th edition, installation and maintenance of small scale solar photovoltaic system,

and design and verification of electrical installation (Level 4)

The company I was working 7 years ago I had a gold conditional card

After I went self employed and I ve been told that I can only have card as Electrical Labourer.

so the same person can have a gold card in condition or no.

I am working full time as an electrician, testing and inspection engineer


Is any way I can get gold card?

    Hi all,


    I'm under the impression that 2391 and 18th edition are level 3... the only thing I can think of is needing the AM2 or what was, I'm in the same position, I hold all certs except AM2 

    Any further help with this would be good to see the outcome.
