Does each flat ran from an landlords main board need individual means of isolation or can they just be isolated from an MCB in main board . The flats are rented and have card meters in them .
these are just distribution cct.s after landlord's meters, The MCB will be fine for isolation.
I'm now going to ask if main bonding to water/ gas whatever, is done before the distribution sub-main to each flat, and also if the sub-mains are either SWA, or routed so as not to need RCD, so if they are soft cable, like twin and earth, then in metal trunking, deeply buried, or surface visible. If not, then should have RCD protection, and then you really would want one per flat.
