    Microwaves operate at precisely 2450MHz, the guard band around it was why the frequencies were clear for unlicensed wifi. If your microwave is not leaky, there will be NO effect.


    I've confirmed this by putting the router ON the microwave (vdsl connection, 79.9Mbit down). Microwave on, and off, speed test gave the same results.


    Ofcom are talking cobblers.
