Additional heating zone

So

I’ve to add a new zone into an existing heating system.

which currently has a 3 channel programmer

- Hot water

- House heating

- UFH

now I was gonna put a new 4 channel programmer in with a Timeguard TRT037N, wireless stat for the new zone

Am I right that to make this work, I’ll take a permanent Live & Neutral to my new receiver, also take a Channel Live and put into the Common terminal on the receiver with the outgoing onto the brown of my valve?

    Sparkymark:

    That’s interesting.

All of the underfloor heating I’ve worked with the ufh wiring centre had connections to control the valve, but doesn’t seem to be on this one.

Assuming you have non-programmable room stats then yes I think channel live to the wiring centre.

I think I would then use the PL07 to control the valve so brown to the boiler on terminal, and then the valve to switch the boiler so orange to a separate core back to the boiler.

Does seem a bit long winded though and not familiar with this system, so stand to be corrected...

Yeah I found this very strange to.

so going to the PL07 terminals, 1 and 2, brown from valve into 1, then connect orange into terminal 2 which goes back to the boiler?

Then I assume terminals 3 & 4 are the pump? Live & Neutral?
