section ii circuit load characteristics 


(a) refers to table 53.1.

This table exists in req but talks about rcds


The table should be 533.1 which deals with relevant information.

  • if the run of a hidden cable was from floor then up to a point then it could run vertically to that point from the floor thereby behind the skirting because it is exactly where you might expect it to be. Horizontally you would not reasonably expect a cable behind the skirting -we do not put sockets in skirtings like we used to years ago.


    Corners I dont like , who uses nails/screws less than 2" (50mm) to hold wall units and shelves up etc?
