Visibility of BS951 Bonding Clamp

We have a problem with an over zealous pipe lagger.  Should the cable terminations or the whole clamp be visible on a pipe bonding clamp?
  • To answer my own question GN8 states "the clamp and its conductor termination are required to be accessible".
  • If it's possible to easily remove the lagging in the vicinity of the clamp then I would regard that as accessible.
  • Accessible does not mean unlagged - so long as if you ever  need to inspect the connection the local lagging can be removed.
  • Labels.
  • Tightness - connectivity

I agree, if it was easy to remove the lagging.

That's a bit like the argument that junction boxes under floorboards are accessible, but everything is accessible with enough time money and effort.
