18TH EDITION AMD 2

Big day today the DPC for 18TH Edition AMD 2 was published on the British Standards web site this morning.

    I have managed to get onto the site and read the introduction but that was as far as I could get, the first attempt to get a forgotten password generated an error so had to go through it again. Tried to get to another section but nothing was working apart from the index scrolling to the last entry all the time. When my browser said the page was using a lot of resource I gave up.?

    As if! Whilst it wouldn't be the actual Amd 2, it would be close enough to be worth having.


    It doesn't seem to work for me on my iPad Pro, but it does work on my trusty ancient laptop except when it runs out of memory. ?

    They did it for the draft 18th and Amd 1 was available as a pdf. Why not for Amd 2??

    Would help if the new additions were lined at the RHS as in the published version, so you know what is changed.

    As it stands it is unreadable, keeps hanging, is slow, unsearchable and will not get the feedback it deserves because of this.

    It has been a long day. I do not want it to be any longer......but....everyone needs to get a jog on......comments expire at midnight! Or is this just for me?

    First of all, for me, it was a date in November, but then December, and just now back to midnight! ?

    What an absolute let down! If this is the best that the great British Standards Institution can do to provide a readable format, then God help us!
