So I recently fit one of these.

It is only needed for the heating of the house. So the hot water and boiler isn’t needed, meaning it wasn’t wired in.

now I’ve had the customer call saying that it’s bringing heating on but it sometimes doesn’t close the valve or sometimes delays to open the valve?

    Sparkingchip:

Two port or three port valve?

Photo six is a wiring diagram and shows the boiler switched by the base unit for heating only.

It’s a 2 port valve. So I I currently have it wired with a permanent live, and a Channel live, along with the valve switch on the outgoing.
